Super7s will be a captivating festival, celebrating the world's fastest growing sport, Women's Rugby Sevens.

The high energy and adrenaline-fuelled showcase will remind audiences why they fell in love with our Australian Golden Girls at the 2016 Rio Olympics. The free event will give the sport a nature of accessibility and scale unrivalled by any previous tournament of its kind. Super7s will see the best of the world's Women's Rugby talent all in one place, at the home of West Bulldogs Rugby, Sci-Fleet Stadium, Toowong.

The event will bring Rugby to the forefront of mainstream viewing, with live-stream coverage to an international audience, as well as a giant party spectators in the stands.

We have chosen Sci-Fleet Stadium, Toowong as the venue of the inaugural Super 7s, celebrating the rising tide in women’s sport in an atmosphere that only Rugby 7s can produce. The home of Wests Bulldogs will become party central as our international guests are entertained in a typically casual Brisbane summer under the fig trees.

There will be 20 hours of non-stop action across 2 fields over the weekend starting from 9am daily. The main event will be played from 3pm to 7pm to catch a peak international viewing audience.

12 international and 4 domestic teams will play 38 games in a Rugby 7s World Cup format. Our compressed format will ensure that spectators will see their favourite team on the field twice in 90 minutes.
